We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Halton Equine and Canine (HEC) and visually bring their business to life by designing their brand and logo, business cards, and website.

When we started this project, we had a call with Hannah Robinson (the owner of HEC) and she told us all about her business and what she wanted to achieve. HEC is a professional and friendly horse boarding, training, and dog grooming facility.

Here is the process we took in bringing HEC visual brand to life and how we can help you design your dream visual brand and website!

STEP 1: LOGO

Designing a logo is a critical part of developing a brand, but we all know a brand is more than that, it’s the feeling you get when you see it consistently. HEC knew that in order for their brand to be successful and resonate with their target audience they would need brand products and a website that reflects the brand.

First, we started by presenting three mockups of the logo for HEC. We wanted the logo to be classic, inviting, and professional, while also being very clear as to what the business offers. After only a few mockups we found a winner. Once HEC chose the logo they resonated with most, we proceeded to make small adjustments until it was perfect! Here are the mock ups we presented:

STEP 2: COLOUR

After developing the logo, we needed to bring the entire brand together. At this stage we presented colour palettes, textures, fonts, and styles that would bring the whole brand look and feel polished. Out of the different mockups, HEC chose their favourite and this was the end result:

STEP 3: BUSINESS CARDS

Now that the visual brand was created, we were able to start designing the website and products for HEC. Having a visual brand outlined clearly ensures consistency across all areas of your marketing, which helps with brand trust and credibility as a business.

HEC wanted business cards created, so we followed the same process as the logo. First, presenting three mockup variations of the business cards. From there, HEC chose their favourite. We made small adjustments as needed and then sent them to print on their behalf. Two weeks later, ta da! The cards arrived at HEC’s doorstep.

Here are the final business cards:

STEP 4: WEBSITE

We pride ourselves on designing websites that will be easy to use for our clients once the project has ended. This is why we set HEC up with a WordPress website, hosted by DreamHost. Here at Strategically Chic, we create websites using the Divi theme and Divi builder ($300 USD value), which we offer complimentary to our clients. The Divi builder allows for small changes to be made with ease, even if tech isn’t your thing.

We started the project by creating the wireframe based on the number of pages and content HEC needed on their site. From there we got to work. First, we designed the Home page and checked in with HEC to make sure they were happy with the look and feel of the home page. Once the Home page has been approved, we moved on to creating the rest of the site using the photos and videos provided by the client.

We make sure all of our websites are:

  • Strong SEO (search engine optimization)
  • Run fast and load smoothly
  • Mobile and tablet optimized
  • Custom graphics
  • Social media integration
  • Meta tagging

We believe websites need to be ATTRACTIVE, INTUITIVE, SIMPLE, and make your customer say YES. When all those boxes are ticked, then we pop the bubbly and launch!

Working with Chelsey and the team at Strategically Chic was an absolute pleasure! They helped design, create, and publish my website and logo. Making it a fun, easy, and exciting process.

They made sure my logo and website reflected and represented my business and self perfectly! It has such a beautiful and classy feel that people notice and compliment. Chelsey and her team easily exceeded and enhanced my vision.

100/10 experience! I plan to Strategically Chic again for future projects.
